TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE AUCTIONS
PLACE A BID ON AN ITEM IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND AN AUCTION.
Although we would always love to have everyone at all of our auctions, we know there are sometimes times when someone might have to miss an auction due to other commitments. Here's a way to be at the auction even if your miles and miles away.
WHAT IS AN ABSENTEE BID?
An absentee bid is a bid (highest amount you are willing to pay) you place on an item you wish to buy, but unfortunately can not attend the auction physically.
HOW DOES AN ABSENTEE BID WORK?
HERES HOW IT WORKS:
1. You place a bid (the highest amount you are willing to pay) with the auction company for an item you want to purchase.
2. During the auction when the item comes up for auction there will be someone designated to bid for you. YOU WILL NEVER START A BID!! The bidding will never start with your bid, a live bidder will always start the bidding.
3. Your bid will be placed each time there is no live bidder bidding and the bidding has not exceeded your highest amount.
4. What this means is:
a. You may get an item for less than your
high bid.
b. You may get outbid and not win the item.
c. You may win the item for your high bid,
if there is a live bidder that bids the
item up and your high bid is the last
bid.
Let us know if you have any questions or if you would like to place a bid on an item look below to see what information we will need.
